Decorated Pots

Decorated Pots don't actually do anything in this version of Minecraft, but they still make great decorations!

The first step to making a Decorated Pot is to knap some blank sherds from clay.

Once you have your sherds, you can knap patterns into them. Note that this is not clay knapping; blank sherds are needed as an ingredient.

Four unfired sherds of any pattern can be crafted into an Unfired Decorated Pot.

The pot can then be fired in a Pit Kiln, and can then be placed. Be careful! Breaking the pot with a tool will shatter it into sherds!

Sherds can also be fired independently. Fired sherds are not particularly useful, but can be used for roleplaying purposes (as an early-game alternative to coins, perhaps).

All sherds can also be salvaged for their clay.
